The official trailer for Netflix‘s Love, Death + Robots Volume 4 has arrived—and it’s as wild, weird, and wonderfully unhinged as fans have come to expect. This round features 10 new shorts, and the trailer wastes no time showing off the craziness: Red Hot Chili Peppers reimagined as marionettes, MrBeast presenting a gladiator ring of mutant dino-riders, and a feline with world domination plans. Welcome back to the boundary-breaking sandbox. Take a look above.
While the visuals and stories are once again eye-popping, this season’s voice cast is arguably the most eclectic yet. John Oliver plays a robotic butler, Dan Stevens voices the literal Devil, and is that a speaker being voiced by Kevin Hart? Joining them are Rhys Darby, Chris Parnell, Brett Goldstein, Niecy Nash-Betts, Melissa Villaseñor, and many more.
“I try to get a mix of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy,” creator Tim Miller told Netflix site Tudum. “And we work with some really fucking fantastic writers and artists.” David Fincher, who helms the season’s opening short Can’t Stop—a trippy, stringy homage to Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2003 Slane Castle performance—adds: “We just want to be able to surprise people and show them stuff that hopefully scares them, or gives them the giggles.”

Jennifer Yuh Nelson, returning as supervising director and directing the cyberpunk-themed Spider Rose, says: “Each season is coloured differently because of the stories that are chosen. I think this season we’ve really tried to balance the light and the dark, the humour, and the real tragedy.”
With giant babies, space-bound dinosaur death matches, and demon-fighting cats on the menu, Volume 4 is shaping up to be the anthology’s most unpredictable outing yet.
Not long now! Love, Death + Robots Volume 4 will be arriving on Netflix on May 15.
