There isn’t long until the return of this bad boy.
Feels like it’s been way too long, but we’re now mere week away from the arrival of Lucifer season 5. Before you get stuck into the latest chapter of the series, you’re going to want to check out a short-but-sweet season 4 recap that Netflix has dropped. It’s a tad over 2 minutes in length, but it goes through enough of the major plot turns of the season to rejig that memory.
The fifth chapter will be kicking off six months after the second four finale, which saw Chloe (Lauren German) and Lucifer (Tom Ellis) declaring their love for one another, before he’s forced to descend back to hell to sort out a demon rebellion. Plenty for fans to look forward to in the upcoming season, including a hellish twist – which was unveiled in the season five trailer.
Get ready: The first half of Lucifer‘s 16-episode fifth season, which is the show’s penultimate (sob), will be streaming on Netflix from August 21st.
Lucifer, bored and unhappy as the Lord of Hell, resigns his throne and abandons his kingdom for the gorgeous, shimmering insanity of Los Angeles, where he gets his kicks helping the LAPD–and the savvy detective Chloe Decker in particular. In the stunning fifth season of Lucifer, the stakes are higher than ever.
