Netflix has dropped the official trailer for Office Romance, pairing Jennifer Lopez with Brett Goldstein in a workplace rom-com. Watch the trailer above, then read on for what this one has in store.
JLo and Goldstein can’t hide a high-stakes workplace romance
Lopez plays Jackie Cruz, a tightly wound CEO who runs her company with an iron grip, while Goldstein’s Daniel Blanchflower arrives as the ambitious new lawyer who clearly isn’t intimidated. What starts as sharp, boardroom back-and-forth quickly turns into something far more charged.

The trailer, which arguably gives away a little too much of the admittedly familiar setup, sees the duo trying (and failing) to keep things professional before it all escalates into what Netflix describes as “raunchy island romps” and risky workplace encounters.
It all builds toward a familiar but still enticing question: how much are they willing to risk for something that clearly isn’t just a fling?
From the creators of Ted Lasso
Apart from starring, Goldstein also co-wrote the film’s screenplay with his Ted Lasso collaborator Joe Kelly, with both serving as producers alongside Lopez. Speaking to Tudum during the shoot, Goldstein said, “Every day I come to work to do a rom-com with Jennifer Lopez and this incredible cast, and I expect people to jump out and tell me I’m being pranked. Hasn’t happened yet, so maybe this is real?”
The film is directed by Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and Ticket to Paradise filmmaker Ol Parker, with a supporting cast that includes Betty Gilpin, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford, Amy Sedaris, and Jodie Whittaker. Edward James Olmos also appears as Jackie’s father, reuniting with Lopez after playing her dad in Selena.

Office Romance premieres on Netflix on June 5.
