The first official trailer has arrived for upcoming Jake Gyllenhaal actioner, Road House, a reimagining of the Patrick Swayze-starring cult hit from 1989. Watch the trailer above and check out the poster below.
Gyllenhaal plays former UFC fighter Dalton, who finds himself in an escalating battle after taking on a role as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse. Among the baddies, a wild character played by none other than real-life UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
This fun-looking action film is directed Doug Liman, whose credits include The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Edge of Tomorrow. The screenplay was written by The Nice Guys scribe Anthony Bagarozzi and Charles Mondry.
The cast includes Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Joaquim de Almeida, Lukas Gage, Arturo Castro, B.K. Cannon, Beau Knapp, Darren Barnet, Dominique Columbus, Bob Menery, Catfish Jean, Kevin Carroll, Travis Van Winkle, and Hannah Lanier.
Road House will be streaming on Prime Video from March 21st.
