The first trailer has arrived for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the follow-up to the fantastic, Oscar-winning 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

The sequel catches up with Miles Morales (again voiced by Shameik Moore), now Brooklyn’s full-time Spider-Man, on an adventure that finds him catapulted across the Multiverse after reuniting with Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld). He encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence, but a new threat pushes the heroes into chaos as they clash on how to handle it. Miles is soon going up against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

Among the film’s other characters and cast members: Spot, the film’s villain, voiced by Jason Schwartzman; Miguel O’Hara, aka Spider-Man 2099, voiced by Oscar Isaac; Peter B. Parker/Spider-Man, Jake Johnson back in the role; Jefferson Davis, Miles’s father, voiced by Brian Tyree Henry; Rio Morales, Miles’s mother, voiced by Luna Lauren Vélez; Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, voiced by Issa Rae; and Hobart “Hobie” Brown/Spider-Punk, voiced by Daniel Kaluuya; among others.
