Disney+ has unveiled the official trailer for Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures season 3, giving the Younglings their biggest jump into the High Republic era yet. It’s bright, bouncy, and full of the sort of chaos only tiny Jedi can deliver. Watch the trailer above and read on for the details below.
The New Chapter
The new season drops viewers back in with Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs, three pint-sized Force learners who continue to treat the galaxy like a hands-on classroom. Their training naturally involves equal parts wisdom and mild mayhem, with Master Yoda once again drifting in to offer guidance, encouragement, and the occasional reality check.

This time, the trio’s path crosses with Rek Minuu, a crafty master droidsmith whose mischievous streak sends the Younglings scrambling into fresh challenges. Balancing things out is Dotti, a warmly regarded local shop owner who knows her way around a broken droid far better than most adults in the High Republic. And because nothing in this galaxy ever stays simple, the season also introduces three new droid companions — Beepers, Dozer, and Gigi — each with their own quirks ready to nudge the heroes into more lessons disguised as adventures.
Fans should dig the trailer for season 3, which looks like another sweet and action-packed chapter of the younger-skewing animated series. The trailer also ends with a surprising and touching reveal: Kai, Lys, and Nubs all grown up.
Cast and Behind-the Scenes Team
The cast remains stacked with familiar voices: Ja’Siah Young leads as Kai Brightstar, alongside Juliet Donenfeld’s Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker’s ever-adorable Nubs, Emma Berman as Nash Durango, Trey Murphy as Cyrus Vuundir/Taborr, Gunnar Sizemore as Wes Vinik, and Piotr Michael as Master Yoda. Newcomers Mason Wertheimer and April Winchell join the mix as Rek Minuu and Dotti, respectively. And as a little nod to the show’s roots, Jamaal Avery Jr. (Kai’s original voice in season 1) returns as Padawan Kai in the epilogue.
Behind the scenes, the series continues its Lucasfilm and Wild Canary partnership, with James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, and Josh Rimes executive producing. Michael Olson again serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Elliot M. Bour as supervising director and producer. Matthew Margeson composes, keeping the youthful High Republic energy alive.
