The official trailer has arrived for The Bob’s Burgers Movie, offering up a taste of the big-screen adventure fans of the long-running animated television sitcom (currently on its 12th season, with season 13 already greenlit) can look forward to.
The Belchers are in for a challenging period in this musical comedy-mystery-adventure. Bob and Linda are having trouble keeping their hamburger restaurant afloat – a mission made all the harder when a huge sinkhole is created right in front of their store, blocking the entrance indefinitely. Meanwhile, the kids – Tina, Gene and Louise – find themselves attempting to solve a mystery that could save the family restaurant.
A big voice cast coming together here: Kristen Schaal, H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, Jenny Slate and Stephanie Beatriz, among others.
Bob’s Burgers co-creator Loren Bouchard directed the feature with Bernard Derriman, who has worked as supervising director on around 150 episodes of the series. Bouchard also penned the script with Bob’s Burgers co-creator Jim Dauterive and staff writer/executive producer Nora Smith.
Mark the date, Bob’s Burgers fans: The Bob’s Burgers Movie opens in Australian cinemas on May 26th and U.S. cinemas on May 27th.
