Take a look at the official trailer that’s arrived for The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey, an Apple TV+ limited series led by Samuel L. Jackson.

An adaptation of the novel of the same name by Walter Mosley (The Devil in the Blue Dress), The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey tells the story of the titular Ptolemy, an ailing man forgotten by his family, friends, and now with dementia, himself. After being suddenly left without a trusted caretaker and on the verge of sinking deeper into dementia, he finds himself assigned to the care of Robyn (Dominique Fishback, Power), an orphaned teen. Ptolemy is soon receiving treatment from a specialist (Walton Goggins), who promises that he can help bring back the memories – although only for a period of time. The returning memories puts Ptolemy on a journey toward shocking truths about the past, present, and future.

Jackson also executive produces the emotional-looking series with author Mosley and Mosley’s producing partner Diane Houslin, Ramin Bahrani, Eli Selden and David Levine via the Anonymous Content banner, and LaTanya Richardson.

Also starring Cynthia Kaye McWilliams, Damon Gupton, Marsha Stephanie Blake, and Omar Miller, The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey will debut on Apple TV+ with two episodes on March 11th, followed by one new episode weekly, every Friday.
