Take a look at the full-length official trailer that Netflix has unveiled for Wednesday Adams, the upcoming series that brings back The Adams Family to live-action television.

The series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery that focuses on the titular teen (played by Jenna Ortega, X, You) during her years as a student at Nevermore Academy. The plot finds Wednesday attempting to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorised the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.

The cast includes Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsley Addams, Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester, and Gwendoline Christie as Principal Larissa Weems, among many others. And as the trailer also shows, Christina Ricci, who played the character of Wednesday in ’91 film The Adams Family and its ’93 sequel, is on board as a character named Marilyn Thornhill.

All eight episodes are directed by Tim Burton (Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Batman), who also serves as executive producer alongside showrunners/writers Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (Smallville).

Wednesday Adams premieres on Netflix on November 23rd.
