2023 Emmy Nominations – Full List: ‘Succession’, ‘Last of Us,’ House of the Dragon,’ ‘The Bear’ Among Nods

Left to Right: ‘The Last of Us,’ ‘House of the Dragon,’ ‘Succession’

All the nominations for the 75th Emmy Awards have been officially announced.

Unsurprisingly, most of the nominations at the high-profile television industry awards this year have gone HBO’s way, with shows such as Succession, The White Lotus, House of the Dragon and The Last of Us receiving nods. Succession leads the pack with a whopping 27 nominations.

Among the acting nominees: Aussie star Sarah Snook has been nominated for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Succession, with her co-stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong and Kieren Culkin all competing for Lead Actor in a Drama series. Bella Ramsey and Elisabeth Moss are also among Drama’s Lead Actress noms, for The Last of Us and The Handmaid’s Tale respectively.

Leads nominated on the Comedy side of things include Bill Hader for Barry, Jason Sudeikis for Ted Lasso, Jeremy Allen White for The Bear, Rachel Brosnahan for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Natasha Lyonne for Poker Face, and Jenna Ortega for Wednesday.

Succession and The White Lotus have crowded the list in a big way; the noms list for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, for example, only contains actors from those two series.

The 2023 Emmy Awards is currently scheduled to take place on September 18th. There remains a risk of delay or major disruption, however, with the still-unfolding writers strike in the U.S. and the potential of an actors strike.
