The big official trailer for upcoming Star Wars series Andor has arrived, as well as the announcement of a new Disney+ release date.

The series, which takes place prior to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will kick off with a three-episode drop on Disney+ on September 21, with an episode to follow weekly until the episode 12 finale.

Andor explores a new perspective from the Star Wars galaxy, focusing on Cassian Andor’s journey to discover the difference he can make. The series brings forward the tale of the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire and how people and planets became involved. It’s an era filled with danger, deception and intrigue where Cassian will embark on the path that is destined to turn him into a rebel hero.

Diego Luna reprises his titular role as Cassian Andor and is joined by a cast that includes Genevieve O’Reilly, Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller and Fiona Shaw. Andor‘s executive producers are Luna, Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, Michelle Rejwan, and Tony Gilroy, the latter of whom is also the creator and showrunner.
