Emma Thompson stars in dystopian Britain under a dictatorship. An ordinary British family navigate the tumultuous waves of an uncertain future. Starting in 2019 and propelling
the characters 15 years forward, this thrilling saga delves into their hopes, anxieties, and joys amidst an increasingly unstable world, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats.

Created by and starring Russell T Davies (A Very English Scandal), Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility, The Children Act), Rory Kinnear (Brexit: The Uncivil War, Lucan) and T’Nia Miller (The Diplomat, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Sex Education).

The Guardian UK rated The Tower five-stars, praising it as a “glorious near-future drama from Russell T Davies.” The Hollywood Reporter praising it for defying expectations “It shouldn’t work, but it’s magnificent.”

Based on the extraordinary true story of how a police officer faked his own death to avoid bankruptcy. Eddie Marsan (Still, Ray Donovan) and Monica Dolan (Pride, A Very English Scandal) star in this bizarre but true con story about a couple who became a notorious media sensation in 2007. Based on the John Darwin disappearance case, a man fakes his own death with the help of his wife. In doing this, they end up neck deep in a sea of lies, crime and deception.

From Chris Lang, the creator of Unforgotten and A Mother’s Son. The Guardian UK gave the series a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. Radio Times described it as “quirky, off-beat, hard-hitting, and truly memorable” with a 5 stars rating.
