“Crater” is the coming-of-age adventure story of Caleb Channing, who was raised on a lunar mining colony and is about to be permanently relocated to an idyllic faraway planet following the death of his father. But before leaving, to fulfill his dad’s last wish, he and his three best friends, Dylan, Borney and Marcus, and a new arrival from Earth, Addison, hijack a rover for one final adventure on a journey to explore a mysterious crater. Directed by Kyle Patrick Alvarez, the coming-of-age sci-fi adventure stars Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Mckenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong, Thomas Boyce and Scott Mescudi. A 21 Laps Production, the film was written by John Griffin and produced by Shawn Levy, Dan Levine and Dan Cohen.

  • White Men Can’t Jump – STAR Original

“White Men Can’t Jump” is a modern retelling of the iconic 1992 film that celebrates the streetball hustling culture of Los Angeles. Sinqua Walls stars as Kamal, once a promising player who derailed his future in the sport, and multi-platinum rap superstar Jack Harlow makes his movie debut as Jeremy, a former star of the game whose injuries stalled his own career. Juggling tenuous relationships, financial pressures and serious internal struggles, the two ballers—opposites who are seemingly miles apart—find they might have more in common than they imagined possible.

Directed by Calmatic, the movie also stars Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Vince Staples, Myles Bullock and Lance Reddick. The film is written by Kenya Barris and Doug Hall. “White Men Can’t Jump” is produced by Kenya Barris and Paul Hall; it’s executive produced by Blake Griffin, Ryan Kalil, Noah Weinstein, Calmatic, Doug Hall, E. Brian Dobbins and James Powers.

When a local girl goes missing, it triggers a woman’s memories from her childhood as a member of The Kindred – one of the few female-led cults in history. Based on the crime thriller by J.P. Pomare, this exclusive original series follows the nightmares of a cult and a woman who’s forced to face the demons from her past in order to stop the kidnapping and coercion of innocent children in the future. “The Clearing” is an emotional and psychological thriller that burrows under the skin and inside the mind, blurring the lines between past and present, reality and nightmare.

Teresa Palmer, Miranda Otto and Guy Pearce lead a stellar line-up of Australian talent including Hazem Shammas, Mark Coles-Smith, Kate Mulvany and rising star Julia Savage.

  • American Born Chinese – Disney+ Original Series – Premiere

A series adaptation of Gene Luen Yang’s groundbreaking graphic novel, “American Born Chinese” is the story of Jin Wang, a regular American teenager whose hopes for “leveling up” his social life are derailed with the arrival of a new foreign student, Wei-Chen Sun. Dealing with high school politics, a racist viral meme from a 90s television show, and this eccentric new boy following him around, Jin fumbles his chance of getting on the soccer team and tarnishes his reputation. However, as Jin gets to know Wei-Chen, he comes to find out that this new kid is the son of the legendary Monkey King, Sun Wukong, from Chinese myth. As Wei-Chen enlists Jin in his search for the rumored Fourth Scroll, Jin is faced with the trials and tribulations of heaven and high school, forcing him to discover his own identity in the process. Told through family, comedy, and action-packed Kung-Fu, Jin learns that his power comes from being himself.
