Netflix has dropped the official trailer for FUBAR, an upcoming action-comedy that marks the first series led by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In what could be considered some kind of spiritual follow-up to Arnie hit True Lies, FUBAR finds the action star and former Governor playing a CIA Operative on the verge of retirement. Things take a big turn when he discovers a family secret, forcing him to go back into the field for one last job.

“Everywhere I go, people ask me when I’m going to do another big action comedy like True Lies,” said Schwarzenegger in a statement when the release date was announced. “Well, here it is. FUBAR will kick your ass and make you laugh – and not just for two hours. You get a whole season. It’s been a joy to work with Nick, Skydance, and Netflix to give my fans exactly what they’ve been waiting for.”

The spy-adventure eight-episode series was created by Nick Santora, who’s come off a big series hit with Prime Video’s Reacher. Santora serves as showrunner, as well as executive producer alongside star Schwarzenegger, Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale, and Bill Bost, with Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg.

FUBAR, with a cast that includes Monica Barbaro, Jay Baruchel, Aparna Brielle, Andy Buckley, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Barbara Eve Harris, Gabriel Luna, and Fabiana Udenio, will be streaming on Netflix from May 25th.
