New ‘Dune 2’ Trailer Unveils More of the Awesome-Looking Sequel

An electrifying new trailer has arrived for much-anticipated sequel, Dune: Part Two. Watch it above.

Directed by the Denis Villeneuve, this cinematic saga delves deeper into Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel. In Part Two, the epic journey of Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet, Wonka, Call Me by Your Name) unfolds as he joins forces with Chani (Zendaya, Euphoria) and the Fremen, embarking on a vengeful quest against those who tore his family apart. Caught between the love of his life and the destiny of the universe, he strives to avert a catastrophic future only he can foresee.

A large, impressive cast in the foll0w-up. Joining returning stars Rebecca Ferguson (Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning), Josh Brolin (Avengers: End Game), Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Stellan Skarsgård (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Charlotte Rampling (45 Years, Assassin’s Creed), and Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men), are Austin Butler (Elvis), Florence Pugh (Black Widow), Christopher Walken (The Deer Hunter), Stephen McKinley Henderson (Fences, Lady Bird), and Léa Seydoux (James Bond franchise).

Villeneuve directs from a screenplay he co-wrote the screenplay with Jon Spaihts (who also co-wrote the first chapter). Villeneuve reunites with his Dune collaborators: composer Hans Zimmer, director of photography Greig Fraser, production designer Patrice Vermette, editor Joe Walker, costume designer Jacqueline West, and visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert.

Dune: Part Two will open in Australian cinemas on February 29th and U.S. cinemas on March 1st, 2024.
