Take a look at the teaser trailer that’s arrived for Force of Nature: The Dry 2, the follow-up to the 2020 dramatic thriller led by Eric Bana.

The sequel, based on the novel of the same name by author Jane Harper, brings back Bana as Federal Agent Aaron Falk. This time, Aaron is looking into what’s gone down during a corporate hiking retreat, which saw five women take part and only four come out on the other side. Along with Federal Agent Carmen Cooper (Jacqueline McKenzie), Aaron heads deep into the Victorian mountain ranges to investigate in the hopes of finding their whistle-blowing informant, Alice Russell (Anna Torv), alive.

Director Robert Connolly (Balibo, Paper Planes) returns at the helm and has also written the screenplay. The supporting cast also includes Deborah-lee Furness, Robin McLeavy, Sisi Stringer, Lucy Ansell, Jeremy Lindsay-Taylor, Richard Roxburgh, Tony Briggs and Kenneth Radley.

Pulling over $AUD20 million at the Australian box office, The Dry surpassed Aussie classics such as Priscilla, Queen of The Desert, Muriel’s Wedding and The Dish to become one of the top highest-grossing Australian films of all time.

Force of Nature: The Dry 2 will be opening across Australian cinemas on August 24th.
