Slimer’s back! Take a look at two new official trailers to arrive for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. The Australian trailer above and the U.S. trailer below.

The follow-up to 2021’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife catches up with the Spengler family, who return to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

The cast includes Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts.

Gil Kenan, director of animated film Monster House, City of Ember, and 2015’s Poltergeist, moves into the director’s chair in the franchise after co-writing Ghostbusters Afterlife. Kenan again co-wrote the screenplay alongside the previous film’s helmer, Jason Reitman.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire will open in Australian cinemas on March 21st and U.S. cinemas on March 22nd.
