Sony has released the official trailer for I Know What You Did Last Summer, a direct sequel to the ‘90s slasher horror staples that returns franchise originals Jennifer Love Hewitt and Freddie Prinze Jr. for another scream-filled summer. Directed by Do Revenge filmmaker Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the new chapter finds a fresh group of teens caught in a very familiar nightmare after a deadly accident and a pact to cover it up. Sound familiar? It should—until it doesn’t. As their bodies start dropping and secrets unravel, this new generation turns to two survivors of the infamous 1997 Southport Massacre: Julie James (Hewitt) and Ray Bronson (Prinze Jr.).
“I just have one question,” Hewitt’s Julie says, peering through the trauma and the years. “What did you do last summer?”
