Fans at this year’s Star Wars Celebration in London where treated to a big new Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny trailer – and we’ve got it for you to watch below.
Harrison Ford returns as the iconic hero archaeologist in a new adventure that finds him teaming up with his goddaughter, Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), and taking on JĂĽrgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), a NASA member and ex-Nazi. The film also stars Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies (returning to the franchise as Sallah), Toby Jones, and Boyd Holbrook.
The picture marks the first Indy film not directed by Steven Spielberg, who remains attached to the franchise as executive producer alongside George Lucas. At the helm is Logan and Ford v Ferrari helmer James Mangold, who, by the way (as was announced as Star Wars Celebration), is staying connected with Lucasfilm to direct a Star Wars film set during the dawn of the Jedi.
Fingers crossed for a strong film here, particularly since it will mark Ford’s final out as Indy. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, set to have its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May, will be opening in Australian cinemas on June 28th and U.S. cinemas on June 30th,
