The first trailer for Apple TV+’s Palm Royale has just been launched, showcasing a glossy series with star-studded cast including Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, and Kaia Gerber, alongside the acclaimed Laura Dern and Allison Janney.

The series, set to premiere on March 20, promises a blend of drama, wit, and societal exploration, with special guest appearances by the legendary Carol Burnett and Bruce Dern.

Palm Royale introduces us to the journey of Maxine Simmons, portrayed by Wiig, who dreams of infiltrating the elite circles of Palm Beach. The narrative explores the lengths one might go to bridge the gap between the affluent and the less fortunate, posing a profound question that resonates deeply in today’s society: “How much of yourself are you willing to sacrifice to obtain what someone else possesses?”

Drawing inspiration from Juliet McDaniel’s novel “Mr. and Mrs. American Pie,” the series comes from The Affair and Dead to Me writer Abe Sylvia, at the helm as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, leading an impressive team including executive producers Wiig, Dern, Jayme Lemons for Jaywalker Pictures, Katie O’Connell Marsh, Tate Taylor, and John Norris for Wyolah Films, along with Sharr White, Sheri Holman, and Boat Rocker.
