‘Prime Target’ Trailer: Apple TV+ Drops First Look at Ridley Scott Exec Produced Conspiracy Thriller Series

Apple TV+ has unveiled the first trailer for Prime Target, an upcoming conspiracy thriller series that’s bound to have you side-eying your Wi-Fi and devices. Take a look above.

Starring Leo Woodall (The White Lotus, One Day) as Edward Brooks, the series dives headfirst into the dangerous world of mathematics—yes, maths, yuck (says me – with the subject being my most failed in school). Edward is a math prodigy on the brink of cracking a prime number pattern that could unlock every computer on the planet. Naturally, this paints a massive target on his back.

Enter Quintessa Swindell (Black Adam, In Treatment) as NSA agent Taylah Sanders, whose job initially involves just keeping an eye on Edward and his genius-level peers. But as the shadowy forces closing in on Edward start to reveal themselves, Taylah finds herself pulled into a web of danger, espionage, and a conspiracy bigger than either of them could have imagined.

Created by Steve Thompson (Sherlock, Vienna Blood), the eight-episode series is a collaboration between New Regency and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Productions. All eight episodes are directed by Brady Hood (Top Boy, Great Expectations).

The ensemble includes Stephen Rea (The Crying Game), David Morrissey (Sherwood), Martha Plimpton (The Regime), and Sidse Babett Knudsen (Borgen), among others.

Prime Target premieres on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, 22 January, with the first two episodes streaming immediately. New episodes will follow every Wednesday, wrapping up on 5 March.
