Disney+ will be celebrating Star Wars Day with a trip to the galaxy’s darker corners. The official trailer for Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld has arrived, giving fans a look at the latest animated anthology from Clone Wars and Rebels creator Dave Filoni. Take a look above.
The new six-part series follows in the footsteps of Tales of the Jedi and Tales of the Empire, but this time shifts focus to the criminal underworld—specifically through the eyes of two of the franchise’s most iconic outlaws: Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane.
The trailer teases two separate storylines. Former Sith assassin and Nightsister Ventress (voiced once again by Nika Futterman) is thrown back into the chaos when she finds herself on the run with an unexpected ally. Meanwhile, bounty hunter Cad Bane (Corey Burton) is forced to face his past when he crosses paths with a former friend who’s now a marshal.

Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld premieres exclusively on Disney+ on May 4—just in time for May the 4th, the unofficial Star Wars holiday. All six episodes will be available to stream on day one.
