Watch the trailer above that Paramount Pictures has released for sports dramedy Sweet Dreams, led by Johnny Knoxville.
The plot follows Morris (Knoxville) and what unfolds when he is forced into rehab at the titular recovery center and struggles to confront the wreckage of his life. When their house goes up for auction, he reluctantly agrees to coach their misfit softball team of recovering addicts to win a cash prize and prove that everyone, despite their past, can hit a home run.
This is the feature debut for writer-director Lije Sarki, who served as a producer on feel-good dramedy The Peanut Butter Falcon and previously directed short films. The cast includes Mo Amer, GaTa, Bobby Lee, Theo Von, Brian Van Holt, Jonnie Park, Shakewell, Adam Faison, Erik Anthony Gonzalez, Beth Grant with Jay Mohr and Kate Upton.
Sweet Dreams is being released on Digital April 16th.
