Warner Bros. has unveiled an almost three-minute scene from upcoming DC picture The Batman, which has Robert Pattinson taking on the titular role.

The clip offers up an extended look at a moment we’ve seen snippets of in the trailers: a funeral met with quite the disruption. Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne is among those in attendance at the packed funeral; as is the GCPD’s James Gordon (Jeffrey Wright), who turns up with concerns surrounding the whereabouts of Gotham D.A. Gil Colson (Peter Sarsgaard). Well, Paul Dano’s Edward Nashton, aka the Riddler, is also there – and it appears that poor Colson is about to be used as a messenger.

Matt Reeves (Dawn of/War for the Planet of the Apes, Cloverfield, Let Me In) directs the highly-anticipated film, working from a screenplay he penned with Peter Craig (The Town, Bad Boys for Life).

Not long now! The Batman, also starring Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/Penguin, and Andy Serkis as Alfred, among others, will be in Australian cinemas on March 3rd and U.S. cinemas on March 4th.
