Amazon Prime Video has unveiled a bloody red band teaser trailer for The Boys season 3, giving fans of the proudly irreverent series a taste of the mayhem to come.

Gore a plenty in the bone-cracking teaser, with guts, vomit and much more scattered alongside some very enticing plot hints. Among the quick glimpses (you’ll have to watch it a couple of times to catch everything being thrown at you): Supernatural star Jensen Ackles as superhero Soldier Boy, Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) really not holding back, Homelander (Antony Starr) enjoying some good old milkin’, Hughie (Jack Quaid) getting his arm broken, and – importantly – Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) with superpowers after appearing to take a dose of Compound V. Billy and Homelander are gearing up for what could be one hell of a battle. The fun trailer is cut to “Bones,” a new track from Imagine Dragons’ upcoming album, Mercury – Act 2.

Created by Eric Kripke (Supernatural) and based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys takes a look at what happens when celebrity superheroes abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping this corruption, a group of vigilantes take it upon themselves to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought””the multibillion-dollar conglomerate managing these superheroes. The cast also includes Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit.

The eight-episode third season of The Boys will be debuting on Amazon Prime Video with a three-episode drop on June 3rd. A new episode arrives each Friday that follows until the season finale on July 8th.
