Netflix has unveiled the trailer for The Crown season 6, part 2, the finale five episodes of the acclaimed series.

The conclusion of Peter Morgan’s award-winning drama will find Prince William (now played by Ed McVey), grappling with his mother’s death, facing challenges adjusting to life at Eton and later at St Andrew’s University. His struggles with public life intensify amid budding feelings for a fellow student, Kate Middleton (Meg Bellamy), under the watchful eyes of his personal protection officers. Princess Margaret, after suffering a stroke, reflects on her past, particularly a secret night out on VE Day 1945, which brings comfort in her final days. The Queen (Imelda Staunton), mourning the loss of her sister and mother, and after sanctioning Prince Charles’s marriage to Camilla, contemplates her reign and the monarchy’s future as she approaches her nineties.

The cast includes Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Claudia Harrison as Princess Anne, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, and Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair. Part two also brings in Luther Ford as Prince Harry.

The final five episodes of The Crown, closing the show’s sixth season, will be streaming on Netflix from December 14th.
