Take a look at the exciting new trailer that’s arrived for The Flash, the long, long, long-awaited DC film led by Ezra Miller.

The new trailer unveils plenty of new footage from the big film, which will also feature not one, but two Batmans (Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton!), Supergirl (played by Sasha Calle), and the return of supervillain General Zod (Michael Shannon, reprising the role).

Influenced by the comic book storyline Flashpoint, the plot finds Barry using his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. His attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, leaving him trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The cast includes Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Antje Traue as Faora-Ul.

The Flash, directed by Andy Muschietti (It films, Mama) and written by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey), will be speeding into cinemas around Australia on June 15th and around the U.S. on June 16th.
