Our first taste of The Mandalorian season 3 has arrived with a teaser trailer, which was first unveiled at the D23 Expo.

Pedro Pascal‘s titular badass is still paying the price for having taken his helmet off. Plenty of intriguing snippets on offer below, with an escalating war among the Mandalorians, a group called “a cult” by Bo-Katan Kryze (Katie Sackhoff). And yes, Mando and his child have been reunited. “Alright, kid, hang on,” he tells Baby Yoda, aka Grogu, as they fly through the galaxy. “You ready for an adventure?”

Carl Weathers, Amy Sedaris, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Swallow, Brendan Wayne, Lateef Crowder, Temuera Morrison, and Nick Nolte are among the returning cast members, with Christopher Lloyd set to guest star in a mystery role.

Season 3 of The Mandalorian is set to launch exclusively on Disney+ in 2023.
