Netflix Unveils Official Trailer for ‘The Night Agent’ Season 2

The trailer for The Night Agent season 2 has arrived, offering a tense preview of what lies ahead for Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso). Now officially part of the secretive Night Action programme, Peter faces an even more dangerous world—one where loyalty is scarce and threats are constant. Take a look above.

The new footage teases a series of high-stakes challenges, including a possible mole within Night Action and experimental weapons that could cause catastrophic damage if they fall into the wrong hands. Amanda Warren joins the cast as Catherine, a veteran Night Agent tasked with guiding Peter, though earning his trust may prove to be a challenge. The trailer hints at Peter’s struggles to adapt, with his past experiences still casting a long shadow over his decisions.

The second season of the Netflix series picks up after Peter’s promotion to Night Agent, earned by saving the President and exposing a terrorist conspiracy. Now, his first full mission demands more than just heroics—it requires him to navigate an intricate web of secrets and lies where even the smallest mistake could be deadly.

Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan) returns to support Peter in his new role. However, the growing complexities of their respective lives suggest their partnership might not be as straightforward as before. Meanwhile, a host of new characters adds to the intrigue, deepening the show’s exploration of shifting alliances and unseen dangers.

The series has already been greenlit for a third season, with production scheduled to start in Istanbul in late 2024 before moving to New York in 2025.

The second season of The Night Agent will premiere on Netflix on January 23rd.
