Night Two of the 2026 Emmys belonged to Widow’s Bay, with the Apple TV comedy-horror leading Sunday’s Creative Arts ceremony with eight wins. DTF St. Louis followed with six, while Spider-Noir collected five Emmys just days after being cancelled. After Night One put the spotlight on reality, nonfiction and variety, scripted television took centre stage this time around, bringing major acting wins, some memorable surprises and plenty more intrigue ahead of the main ceremony on September 14.

Widow’s Bay spread its victories across the board, with Betty Gilpin winning Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series alongside trophies for casting, cinematography, production design, music supervision, music composition, sound editing and sound mixing. DTF St. Louis also had a huge night in the limited-series races: David Harbour and Linda Cardellini won the supporting acting categories — the first Emmy victories for both stars — while creator Steven Conrad took home awards for writing and directing.

Then there was Spider-Noir. The recently cancelled Nicolas Cage-led Marvel series collected five Emmys for cinematography, stunt coordination, title design, visual effects and sound editing. Elsewhere, the late Rob Reiner won Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for The Bear and received a lengthy standing ovation, Shailene Woodley won for her guest turn in Paradise, Ernest Harden Jr. scored for The Pitt, and Julie Andrews extended her record as the oldest woman to win an Emmy with a voice-over victory for Bridgerton at 90. South Park also returned to the winner’s circle for Outstanding Animated Program for the first time since 2013.

With the first two Creative Arts ceremonies now complete, Widow’s Bay leads all programs with eight Emmys, followed by The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny with seven. DTF St. Louis and The Traitors sit on six apiece, while The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Spider-Noir have five each. Night Two also saw I Love Lucy become the first recipient of the Television Academy’s new Legacy Award.

The remaining major comedy, drama and limited-series races will be decided when Mariska Hargitay hosts the main Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony on September 14.
