An attention-grabbing red band trailer has arrived for Babylon, the latest feature from Whiplash, La La Land, and First Man director Damien Chazelle.
Starring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Deigo Cava, Tobey Maguire (who also serves as an executive producer), Jean Smart and more, Babylon takes us back to 1920s Los Angeles in a tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess. The film traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.
The impressive ensemble also includes Samara Weaving, Olivia Wilde, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, Katherine Waterston, P.J. Byrne, Lukas Haas, Olivia Hamilton, Max Minghella, Rory Scovel, Flea, Jeff Garlin, Eric Roberts, and Ethan Suplee.
It certainly looks to be the wildest film Chazelle has made thus far. Mark the date: Babylon begins a limited U.S. theatrical release on December 25th before going wide on January 6th, 2023, and arrives in Australian cinemas on January 19th, 2023.
