We’ve had Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and its recently-released sequel – and the team is just getting started! Prepare yourself for Bambi: The Reckoning. Watch the teaser trailer above.

As franchise producer/actor Scott Chambers told us in our exclusive interview for Blood and Honey 2 (watch the chat RIGHT HERE), the expanding TCU (Twisted Childhood Universe) will feature horror twists on a range of classic characters, from Pinocchio to Peter Pan (Chambers is directing Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare next). The films will be leading to a team-up movie titled Poohniverse: Monster’s Assemble.

As for this film, the spotlight here lands on Bambi, who is far from the innocent young deer we met in Disney’s animated classic. The teaser above suggests that at least part of the plot could find Bambi getting retribution against the hunter that killed his mother.

The film’s official logline is as follows:

We follow Xana (Roxanne McKee) and her son Benji (Tom Mulheron) who find themselves in a car wreck and soon hunted down by the vicious killing machine, Bambi.

The picture is directed by Dan Allen (Unhinged, It Came from Below), from a screenplay by Rhys Warrington. Chambers and Rhys Frake-Waterfield (director of the Pooh horror films) are among the producers.

Bambi: The Reckoning will be released sometime in 2024. We’ll keep you up to date.
