The official trailer has arrived for Prime Video‘s upcoming Beast Games, a huge reality competition series from the mind of YouTube sensation Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast. Take a look at the trailer above and get the info below.

Beast Games brings together a whopping 1,000 contestants to compete in a series of physical, mental, and social challenges designed to test their limits. They’re aiming for the largest cash prize in television history: $5 million. And it’s not just the life-changing cash prize up for grabs, but also additional rewards like luxury cars, cash bonuses, and even a private island.

“This challenge might be the most cut-throat thing I’ve ever done,” MrBeast declares in the trailer, which teases elaborate set pieces, including a pirate ship, monster trucks, and people jumping from helicopters.

As host and executive producer, MrBeast is leveraging his reputation as a creative force to expand his influence into streaming. “My goal is to make the greatest show possible and prove YouTubers and creators can succeed on other platforms,” said Donaldson in a statement. “Amazon gave me the creative control I need to try and make it happen. I hope to make the YouTube community proud.”

Prime Video executives have also expressed excitement about the collaboration. Said Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studio: “MrBeast has captured the attention and imagination of fans of all ages, from all walks of life, and all over the world. We are excited to work with Jimmy and his talented team to bring his brilliant, high production, and stakes-raising concepts to Beast Games for our global customers to experience.”

The 10-episode series was co-created by MrBeast alongside Tyler Conklin, Sean Klitzner, and Mack Hopkins, who are also among a team of executive producers that includes Michael Cruz, Joe Coleman, Matt Apps, Keith Geller, Charles Wachter, Rachel Skidmore, Chris Keiper, and Joshua Kulic.

Beast Games will premiere with a two-episode drop on Prime Video on December 19th, with subsequent episodes releasing weekly.
