The first trailer has arrived for Milla Jovovich and Dave Bautista-starring action-fantasy In the Lost Lands. Check it out above.
Adapted from a short story by Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin, the film has Jovovich playing a sorceress sent on a perilous mission and Bautista as her rugged companion in a land where survival is no small feat. As hinted in the trailer, the quest across the unforgiving wilderness of the Lost Lands involves more than just braving the elements—there’s betrayal, monstrous creatures, and a fight against forces that defy natural law.
This CG-fuelled actioner comes from director Paul W.S. Anderson, who also directed real-life wife Jovovich in four Resident Evil films, 2020’s Monster Hunter, and 2011’s The Three Musketeers. Anderson’s credits also include Event Horizon, 1995’s Mortal Kombat, and Alien vs. Predator.
In the Lost Lands, with a cast that also includes cast includes Arly Jover and Amara Okereke, is slated to open in US cinemas on 7 March.
