Following that Comic-Con teaser trailer released back in July, the official length-trailer has finally arrived for John Wick: Chapter 4, the upcoming actioner that brings back Keanu Reeves as the titular ass-kicker.
The plot finds Wick with a chance to earn his freedom and defeat The High Table. Of course, that’s no easy feat. Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes. Among the new cast members in Wick’s sights: Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Rogue One), Bill Skarsgård (It, Barbarian), and Scott Adkins (Avengement, Triple Threat).
Director Chad Stahelski returns at the helm after having directed the previous John Wick films. The screenplay comes from Shay Hatten (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, Army of the Dead) and Michael Finch (Hitman: Agent 47, American Assassin).
Looks like another exciting, relentless chapter in the hit action franchise. Can’t wait. John Wick: Chapter 4, also starring Lawrence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Natalia Tena, and Clancy Brown, opens in Australian cinemas on March 23rd and U.S. cinemas on March 24th, 2023.
