As the trailer shows, among those playing villains are Rory McCann (Game of Thrones), Scott Mescudi (Don’t Look Up), and Ellie Taylor (Ted Lasso). The ensemble also includes Stockard Channing (The West Wing), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), Julian Barratt (Mindhorn), Cary Elwes (Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Paul Scheer (Black Monday), and Rob Huebel (Childrens Hospital). Plus, some notable guest stars: Ben Schwartz will be back as Sonic, Tika Sumpter, back as Maddie, and Colleen O’Shaughnessey back as Tails.

Jeff Fowler, director of the two previous Sonic films, directs the pilot episode and is on an executive producer team that includes Elba, Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, John Whittington and Toru Nakahara. Ascher and Whittington are the series creators.

All six episodes of Knuckles will be dropping on Paramount+ in the U.S. on April 26th and Australia on April 27th.
