Marvel Studios has unveiled the trailer for Loki season 2, the next chapter in the Tom Hiddleston-led Disney+ series.

The second season finds the God of Mischief in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority in the aftermath of the shocking season 1 finale. Along with Mobius (Owen Wilson reprising the role), Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku), and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous Multiverse in search of Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), Judge Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw), Miss Minutes (Tara Strong), and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.

An exciting, replay-worthy trailer above, offering up plenty of enticing snippets of what could (hopefully) be a fantastic follow-up to a fantastic first season. As the trailer shows, this season brings in Everything Everywhere All at Once Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan as a Time Variance Authority archivist, and has Jonathan Majors continuing on with the MCU as Kang the Conqueror variant Victor Timely, who we saw in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania‘s end-of-credits sequence.

The cast includes Eugene Cordero, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, and Neil Ellice. Episodes are directed by Justin Benson & Aaron Moorhead (The Endless, Synchronic), Dan Deleeuw, and Kasra Farahani. Head writer is Eric Martin.

Loki season 2 will premiere on Disney+ on October 6th. Watch the trailer above and take a look at the new poster for the series below.
