A date announcement trailer has arrived for Spy Kids: Armageddon, the upcoming franchise reboot heading to Netflix this September.

The plot follows a new group of secret spies: the Tango-Torrez family, with Zachary Levi (Shazam!) and Gina Rodriguez (Jane the Virgin) playing the parents. When the children (played by newcomers Connor Esterson and Everly Carganilla) of the world’s greatest secret agents unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world. Billy Magnussen (No Time to Die) plays the villain, Rey “The King” Kingston.

Franchise creator and director Robert Rodriguez returns at the helm for this one, the fifth film in the overall franchise. And Rodriguez’s sons were key creatives: he penned the screenplay with his son Racer and his son Rebel composed the film’s score.

Spy Kids: Armageddon will be streaming on Netflix from September 22nd.
