Netflix has dropped the first teaser trailer for Love, Death + Robots Volume 4, offering a rapid-fire glimpse into another round of surreal, stunning, and certifiably unhinged animated stories. Watch it above.
From creator Tim Miller (Deadpool, Terminator: Dark Fate) and executive producer David Fincher (The Killer, Mindhunter), the Emmy-winning anthology returns with 10 new shorts — and, if the teaser is anything to go by, they’re as wild as ever. We’re talking T. rex gladiators, suspicious cats, overworked appliances, demons, aliens, screaming cyborgs — and that’s just the surface.
“I try to get a mix of horror, sci-fi, and fantasy,” Miller told Netflix site Tudum. “And we work with some really f**king fantastic writers and artists.” That genre-blending DNA is clear in this first look, which feels like a greatest hits of chaos, charm, and pure imagination. Supervising director Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2, Kill Team Kill) also returns, helping guide this twisted trip across time, space, and tone.

The teaser doesn’t give away much — not that it ever really needs to. The Love, Death + Robots brand has built its following on surprise, variety, and a fearless approach to animation. Volume 4 looks to continue that legacy with its now signature mix of ultra-violence, existential weirdness, and twisted humour.
With 10 new tales on the way, fans can dive into the madness when Volume 4 lands on Netflix on May 15th.
