The Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One marketing continues to juice the film’s stunt-heavy sequences – and with good reason: they’re freakin’ spectacular.

The latest behind-the-scenes featurette to arrive for the Tom Cruise starrer offers up a look at how they pulled off the film’s incredible train sequence. They built a train (complete with interiors that had to be usable), had Cruise and villain star Esai Morales fight on top of the train, then… they drove the train right off a bridge.

“No one else is in the world is doing this level of practical filmmaking,” says director and co-writer Christopher McQuarrie, “And it may never be done again.”

The seventh film in the Mission: Impossible franchise is off to a winning start on the review side of things. At the time of writing, the film has a hugely impressive 98% score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 125 critic reviews.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is now in Australian cinemas and opens in U.S. cinemas on July 12th.
