A new trailer has arrived for Australian horror film Talk to Me, the feature film debut from brothers Danny and Michael Philippou, who are also known by their popular YouTube channel name, RackaRacka.

The highly unsettling-looking film follows a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand. They become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.

Danny and Michael Philippou directed the film from a screenplay that Danny penned with Bill Hinzman. Daley Pearson is credited for the film’s concept. The film is produced by Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton of Causeway Films, the Aussie production company that was also behind 2014 horror hit The Babadook.

The film is set to be distributed theatrically in Australia by Maslow Entertainment and, in a big acquisition at Sundance this year, was picked up by major U.S. distributor A24. Rave reviews have come from the film’s festival run thus far; an impressive 97% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing, for example.

Talk to Me, starring Sophie Wilde, Zoe Terakes and Miranda Otto, will be released in Australian cinemas on July 27th and U.S. cinemas on July 28th.
