It’s Dracula. On a boat. Let’s go!

Take a look at the official trailer to arrive for The Last Voyage of the Demeter, an upcoming horror film based on a chapter (titled “The Captain’s Log”) from Bram Stoker’s classic 1897 novel, Dracula.

The story tells of what unfolds aboard the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo—fifty unmarked wooden crates—from Carpathia to London. Strange events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the ocean voyage, stalked each night by a merciless presence onboard the ship.

The cast includes Corey Hawkins (In the Heights, Straight Outta Compton), playing Clemens, a doctor who joins the Demeter crew; Aisling Franciosi (Game of Thrones, The Nightingale), playing an unwitting stowaway; Liam Cunningham (Game of Thrones) as the ship’s captain; and David Dastmalchian (Dune, the Ant-Man franchise) as the Demeter’s first mate.

The film is directed by Norwegian helmer André Øvredal, whose credits include horror film Scary Stories To Tell in the Dark and found-footage pic Troll Hunter. The screenplay comes from Bragi F. Schut (Escape Room), Stefan Ruzowitzky (The Counterfeiters) and Zak Olkewicz (Bullet Train).

The Last Voyage of the Demeter will open in U.S. cinemas on August 11th.
