Marvel Studios has dropped the official teaser trailer for The Marvels, the upcoming MCU entry that unites three heroes: Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani’s Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan, and Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau.

The film will find Carol Danvers, who has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence, shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as “The Marvels.”

As the trailer showcases, the film will also be starring Samuel L. Jackson, back as Nick Fury. The cast includes Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon, among many others. Director is Nia DaCosta, making her third feature film following 2021 horror film Candyman and 2018 crime-drama Crossing the Line.

Watch out for The Marvels, the 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to open in Australian cinemas on November 9th and U.S. cinemas on November 10th.
