“Bigger. Why do they always have to go bigger?” asked Jeff Goldblum’s Ian Malcolm in the first trailer. Well, get a glimpse of what Sam Neill’s Alan Grant calls “the biggest carnivore the world has ever seen” in this one.
Universal Pictures has unveiled the second official trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion, the sixth overall film in the franchise and what’s being called “the epic conclusion of the Jurassic era.” The new chapter unites the stars of the first film with the stars of the current trilogy in an adventure that finds dinosaurs now roaming the earth following the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which saw the island of Isla Nublar destroyed. As the trailer shows, the balance between dinos and humans is fragile indeed.
A fun-looking epic on the way here, with one hell of a cast line-up that also includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Justice Smith, and DeWanda Wise, among others. The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who directed and co-wrote Jurassic World and co-wrote follow-up Fallen Kingdom. Trevorrow penned the screenplay with Pacific Rim: Uprising scribe Emily Carmichael, who also co-wrote the Dominion predecessor short film Battle at Big Rock.
Jurassic World: Dominion will be stomping into cinemas around Australia on June 9th and in U.S. cinemas on June 10th.
