Australia, your complete Netflix release schedule for August 2026 has arrived. From major new films and returning favourites to documentaries, comedy specials, reality shows and sport, we have every announced title, release date, country of origin and synopsis in one place.

Among the month’s biggest releases are the new adaptation of My Brilliant Career, starring Philippa Northeast, Christopher Chung and Anna Chancellor, and serial-killer thriller The Whisper Man, led by Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan and Adam Scott. Netflix is also rolling out Don’t Say Good Luck, claustrophobic thriller The Last House and Ricky Gervais’ animated comedy Alley Cats.
